I wanted you to know that
the team building scavenger hunt game was a huge hit. Everyone agreed
that it was a great way to spend a
Saturday afternoon
with fellow employees - especially when you're "working".
All the feedback from our evaluation form was very good
and everyone
found it extremely motivational and energizing. Teresa

UNION SQUARE HUNT
HOW IT WORKS: This is an walking scavenger hunt for Union Square and Yerba Buena Gardens. You'll need about 2 hours minimum for this hunt . Your group will be divided into teams of up to 10 people. Each team will receive a collection bag containing a digital camera, their challenge sheet - the hunt itself - and various supplies. They will then embark on the scavenger hunt, taking pictures, obtaining specific items, completing a creative project and a San Francisco trivia quiz - all worth valuable points. There will also be team meets where team members will move to other teams and additional challenges will be given to everyone. At the conclusion of the hunt, the teams will present a creative and inspiring debriefing of their team effort .
EXAMPLES: Scavenger hunt is broken down into the following categories: 20 picture challenges (they'll make for GREAT memories of your hunt and San Francisco), 15 collection challenges, a mini San Francisco trivia quiz (8 questions), a fun and creative project and a final team presentation. Lots of different types of fun tasks to complete to keep it interesting, engaging and challenging!
- Take a picture of your entire team looking wicked and naughty (use your imaginations!) on what was known during the Barbary Coast era as “the wickedest street on earth”. Where are you and why did the street have such a reputation?
- Collect an item to prove you visited the Union Square bar with the red velvet couches, gilt-colored walls, cherubic women dancing on the ceiling and extravagant chandeliers. Their specialty drinks include Yellow Snow, Candy Cane and Strawberry Shortcake. And they only accept cash. This is a very specific location – no creative substitutions here.
- Trivia quiz question: What Francis Ford Coppola movie was filmed in the central plaza on Union Square and in what year was it filmed?
